Riva Cloud
To refresh the list of objects mapped through the Riva Cloud Salesforce connection:
Riva On-Premise 2.4.46 or Earlier
The Riva On-Premise connection for Salesforce includes an Object Definition tab that is used to view, add, and refresh the list of objects that are mapped through the connection. This tab is used in the following circumstances:
- To confirm which Salesforce field names are recognized by Riva.
- To refresh the list of objects mapped through the connection if Salesforce custom field names are enabled for matching and mapping.
View the current list of Salesforce field names
To confirm the existing field mappings:

Start the Riva Manager application. On the menu bar, select Setup.

In the right pane, double-click the Salesforce connection object.

In the CRM Connection Edit window that appears, select the Object Definition tab.

On the Object Type drop-down list, select, for example, Contact.
The current field mappings are displayed for the selected Object Type..
Refresh the list of objects mapped through the Riva On-Premise Connection for Salesforce
The Riva On-Premise connection for Salesforce stores a list of field mappings that are built when the first user is synced. If custom options are applied to identify Salesforce custom fields, the list is not immediately updated. The list needs to be refreshed before it recognizes the custom field names.
To refresh the Salesforce connection list of mappings for contacts:

Start the Riva Manager application. On the menu bar, select Setup.

In the right pane, double-click the Salesforce connection object.

In the CRM Connection Edit window that appears, select the Object Definition tab.

Select Refresh, and save the connection.

Double-click the Salesforce connection, and select the Object Definition tab.

On the Object Type drop-down list, select, for example, Contact.
