Team selling is often enabled when multiple users are assigned to sell to a single customer.
If Team Selling is enabled in NetSuite, Riva Cloud or Riva On-Premise must also be configured to support this feature. If Riva is not configured for Team Selling, unintended side effects may occur. For example, upon creation of a new contact in Exchange, Riva would sync it to NetSuite, match it to the Customer record, and then remove it (the contact) from Exchange.
When synchronizing for contacts by ownership,
- if Team Selling is disabled, ownership queries depend on the salesRep field;
- if Team Selling is enabled, ownership queries use the salesTeamMember list.
