What Is a Special Development Release?
A special development release is a release for a specific short-term Riva development cycle for a specific sync environment. The version number of such a release starts with a "9".
Example: 97.4.36 was a "97" release specific to testing Salesforce Event Relations. This feature was not immediately included in the interim or the public releases: For a while, the only way to test that feature in a sync environment was to use the special development release.
