Map Additional Phone Fields Between GoldMine and Exchange

This advanced option allows you to map which phone numbers you sync from GoldMine to Exchange and vice versa.

You can change which Outlook fields you want to sync, but you must map all three fields. See Default field mappings for GoldMine and Exchange.

To map all three phone numbers

  1. Set the following custom option for the ... Exchange ... connection:

    GoldMine.Contact.PhoneMappingListKey = Office:[GoldMine phone field],Mobile:[GoldMine phone field],Other:[GoldMine phone field]

  2. (Recommended.) Re-sync the contacts from the CRM to ensure that the updated phone numbers sync down from the CRM.

Example

GoldMine.Contact.PhoneMappingListKey = Office:PHONE1,Mobile:PHONE2,Home:PHONE3

In the example, Riva is set to map

  • the Outlook Office field to the PHONE1 field in GoldMine
  • the Mobile field in Exchange to sync to PHONE2 in GoldMine
  • the Home field to PHONE3
