By default, if a user renames a parent account in an Outlook contact that has synchronized to the CRM, the account rename sync fails. Riva On-Premise offers an advanced option to allow renaming the parent account from the Outlook contact.
To rename the parent account from the Outlook contact:

Apply the following advanced custom option to the sync policy:
Crm.Slx.RenameAccountsOnContactUpdates = true (Enables renaming the account from the Outlook contact. Default: false.)
This change is applied when the sync policy is saved and the CRM synchronization service has restarted.

- Riva On-Premise 2.4.22 or higher.
- Riva for Office 365; Exchange 2016, 2013, 2010, and 2007 (EWS); and Exchange 2003 (MAPI).
