Understanding Licensing: Riva is licensed by the number of syncing mailboxes.
In Riva 2.4.48 or higher, it is possible to refresh the license count by releasing inactive licenses.
To confirm and/or refresh the license status of a Riva On-Premise installation:

Open the Riva Manager application.

On the menu bar, select Policies.

In the right pane, right-click a policy, and select Licensing Details.

In the License Details window that appears, confirm the following:
- In the Licenses list box:
- Number of licenses consumed (used).
- Number of licenses remaining.
- In the bottom left corner of the window:
- When support for the licenses expires.
- When support for the licenses expires.
- In the Licenses list box:

To view which accounts consume a license: In the Licenses list box, under Licensed Container, double-click a license.
Result: The Licenses for connection [connection name] window displays, for every account, the following information:

License State: Whether the license is active or not.

Account: The name of the account.

Location: The domain name of the account.

In Riva 2.4.48 or higher, optionally release inactive licenses and refresh the license count as follows:

In the bottom right corner, select Refresh Licenses.
Result: The inactive licenses are released, and you are asked to restart the Riva Manager application.

Close the Riva Manager application.

Re-open the Riva Manager application.

To confirm the changes, repeat steps 2 to 4.
