Possible Causes and Solutions

Riva connection account cannot connect to the Salesforce organization

Perform a connection test for the Riva connection account. If the connection test fails:

  1. Confirm that the login credentials are correct by logging in to login.salesforce.com.

  2. Confirm or set the trusted network access for the Riva On-Premise server.

If the connection test passes, then confirm or set the trusted network access for the applicable SSO Provider.

Trusted network access for the Riva On-Premise server is not configured

To confirm that the trusted network access for the Riva On-Premise server is still correct, follow the Enable trusted network access for the Riva On-Premise server procedure.

Trusted network access for the Riva On-Premise SSO Provider server is not configured

To confirm that the trusted network access for the Riva On-Premise SSO Provider server is still correct, follow the Enable trusted network access for the Riva On-Premise server procedure.

Trusted network access for the hosted Riva SSO Provider service is not configured

To confirm that the trusted network access for the hosted Riva SSO Provider service is properly set, follow the Enable trusted network access for Riva SSO provider (hosted) procedure.
