Riva Insight: Insight Panel and Track in CRM
QuickTrack (Manual) is now enabled by default:
- With QuickTrack, an end user can quickly track any account, contact, opportunity, or custom module by using the item's QuickTrack icon right in the Insight panel. Selecting the icon prepopulates the Track in CRM window based on the item that the user chose to track against.
- QuickTrack comes in two flavors':
- QuickTrack Manual: The Track in CRM window is prepopulated, allowing the user to make changes before tracking.
- QuickTrack Auto: The Track in CRM window is prepopulated and automatically tracked.
- If QuickTrack Auto was enabled in a previous version, it remains in effect. It is not replaced with QuickTrack Manual, but both QuickTrack options are present.
- To change the QuickTrack settings, your Insight Administrator can make the changes directly from the Riva Insight Settings or by contacting the Riva Success Team for assistance.
Insight Panel Only
New! Summary and detail views:
- The Insight panel has been enhanced to present a summary view of the data, allowing for the most relevant information to be available on the screen.
- By clicking into the record, you can drill down to view additional information such as:
- additional display fields,
- related items,
- open opportunities, and
- upcoming events and recent events.
- To change which display fields appear within the summary or detail views, your Insight Administrator can make the changes directly from the Riva Insight Settings or by contacting the Riva Success Team for assistance.
- In previous versions, clicking the record name opened the record within the CRM in an external browser window.
- Now, clicking the record name opens the detail view of the record within the Insight panel.
- Note: You can still view the record within the CRM by clicking the View in CRM icon next to the record name. That functionality has not changed.
New! Ability to manage display fields and enrich icons:
- Background:
- A display field displays CRM information in the Insight panel.
- An enrich icon appears to the left of a display field.
- The new user interfaces are located in the Riva Insight Settings window. Specifically, in the Insight Panel tab, select the Fields or Enrich Icons tab.
- With the new configuration options, a Riva Insight administrator can configure display fields and enrich icons by
- Selecting whether a display field or enrich icon appears in the summary view, the detail view, or both.
- Controlling the order that the display fields and enrich icons appear in.
- Deciding which display field appears as a title, subtitle, or within the body of a displayed account, contact, or any other item.
- Adding display fields and enrich icons.
- Your Insight Administrator can make the changes directly from the Riva Insight Settings or by contacting the Riva Success Team for assistance.
New! New-version indicator for the Windows add-in for Outlook:
- Always stay up to date with new releases to the Windows add-in. You will now see a message whenever a new version is available for you. The latest version is available for download from the Settings page of Riva Insight.
