(New feature available for the Insight panel in all three Riva Insight add-ins: Outlook Web, Windows for Outlook, and IBM Notes.)
(Supported for Salesforce, NetSuite, and Dynamics CRM.)
Your admin can configure the Insight panel to display account-related Upcoming Events and Recent Interactions. They appear below the account-related third-party icons.
Accounts: Added Custom Related Modules
(New feature available for the Insight panel in all three Riva Insight add-ins: Outlook Web, Windows for Outlook, and IBM Notes.)
The Insight panel can be configured to display Custom Related Modules that are related to the account. They appear below the account-related third-party icons.
To enable the display, contact the Riva Success Team.
Settings: Email Matching Settings Are Now Available from the UI
(Enhancement available for the Insight panel in all three Riva Insight add-ins: Outlook Web, Windows for Outlook, and IBM Notes.)
On the Insight panel Organization Settings tab, Riva Insight policy admins can now configure the Email Matching settings themselves instead of having to contact the Riva Success Team.
Non-admin users can view the settings but cannot modify them.
External Contacts Are Displayed Before Same-Domain Contacts
(Enhanced customization available for the Insight panel in all three Riva Insight add-ins: Outlook Web, Windows for Outlook, and IBM Notes.)
Context: In Riva Insight 2018.3, same-domain contacts related to emails and appointments could be configured to appear in the Insight panel. External contacts and same-domain contacts appeared in the order that they were encountered in.
Now: If same-domain contacts are configured to appear, they appear after the external contacts. If the maximum number of contacts that can be displayed is taken up by external contacts, no same-domain contacts are displayed.
Hide the "View in CRM" Buttons
(New configuration option available for the Insight panel in all three Riva Insight add-ins: Outlook Web, Windows for Outlook, and IBM Notes.)
The Insight panel can now be configured to hide the View the account in CRM button from the account details and the View the contact in CRM button from the contact details.
To hide the buttons, contact the Riva Success Team.
Office 2016 Compatibility Settings
(Compatibility solution available for the Insight panel in all three Riva Insight add-ins: Outlook Web, Windows for Outlook, and IBM Notes.)
Issue: Updating to Outlook 2016 sometimes causes the Insight panel to be anchored to the left side of the Outlook window instead of its usual location on the right side.
To see the Insight panel in its usual location, try the following:
- On the main ribbon, on the File menu, select Options.
- In the Outlook Options window, on the General page, select Optimize for compatibility.
- Save.
Ability to Control the Default Behaviour with Regard to Saving Attachments
(New configuration option available for Track in CRM in all three Riva Insight add-ins: Outlook Web, Windows for Outlook, and IBM Notes.)
Context: In Riva Insight 2018.3 or earlier, in the Track in CRM window, by default, the Save Attachments? check box is cleared.
Now: Track in CRM can be configured so that by default, the Save Attachments? check box is selected.
To ensure that the check box is selected by default, contact the Riva Success Team.
Ability to Save Attachments in Basic Mode
(New configuration option available for the Track in CRM Basic Mode in the Riva Insight Windows for Outlook add-in.)
The Riva Insight: About window now displays the Save attachments check box. When this check box is selected, attachments are synced in Basic Mode.
