Riva has reviewed the Salesforce Winter ’27 release and confirmed that Riva supports this Salesforce release.
What This Means for Riva Customers
Riva supports Salesforce Winter ’27, and no Riva-specific action is required as part of the Salesforce Winter ’27 upgrade.
Customers can continue using Riva as usual before and after their Salesforce Winter ’27 upgrade. Standard Salesforce upgrade processes can be followed.
For this release:
- No Riva-specific configuration changes are required.
- No Riva package upgrade sequencing changes are required.
- No Riva migration activities are required.

Items Riva Is Monitoring
Riva is aware of several Salesforce authentication and platform changes introduced or announced around the Winter ’27 release.
These changes do not require customer action as part of the Winter ’27 upgrade. Riva is actively reviewing and addressing applicable changes as part of ongoing Salesforce compatibility work.
Refresh Token Rotation and PKCE
Salesforce continues to strengthen OAuth security, including support for Refresh Token Rotation and Proof Key for Code Exchange (PKCE).
Riva is actively working on support for Salesforce Refresh Token Rotation, including authentication flows, refresh token handling, credential persistence, and authentication recovery across single-node and multi-node deployments.
Riva is also validating Salesforce Refresh Token Rotation behavior for applications using PKCE.
No customer action is required as part of the Salesforce Winter ’27 upgrade.
OAuth Authentication Changes
Salesforce has announced changes to several OAuth authentication flows as part of its ongoing authentication security improvements.
Riva has reviewed the applicable changes and completed related compatibility work, with additional follow-up work planned where appropriate.
