This article serves as a reference with the Analytics and Reporting article to understand the activities and columns included in Sales Engagement reports.
Reports include separate CSV files for the Sales Engagement features selected when you request a report:
- Bookings
- Cadences
- Email Bursts
- Email Templates
The Detailed usage metrics folder contains individual activity records. The Summary folder contains aggregated data, such as the templates used most often.
All timestamps use UTC and the format YYYY-MM-DDTHH:MM.
Where Activities Are Recorded
Report activities are recorded from one of the following locations:

| Outlook add-in | A user performed the action in the Riva Sales Engagement add-in while using Outlook. |
| Sales Engagement portal | A user performed the action in the Sales Engagement web portal, or the service recorded an update related to a booking or meeting. |
Bookings Report
The Bookings report (Detailed usage metrics/bookings.csv) shows availability-link activity and booking lifecycle events.
Note: An inserted booking link is recorded when it is added to an email compose window in the Outlook add-in. It does not confirm that the email was sent, delivered, opened, or used to book a meeting.
Action Definitions

| Availability links viewed | Outlook add-in | The user opened the Book a Meeting section in the Outlook add-in to view their availability links. This does not indicate that a recipient viewed a link. |
| Availability link created | Sales Engagement portal | The user completed creation of a new reusable availability link. |
| New Single use link inserted | Outlook add-in | The user created and inserted a new single-use booking link into an email compose window. A single-use link expires after one booking. This does not confirm that the email was sent. |
| New Availability link inserted | Outlook add-in | The user created and inserted a new reusable availability link into an email compose window. This does not confirm that the email was sent. |
| Old Availability link inserted | Outlook add-in | The user inserted an existing availability link that had been created previously into an email compose window. This does not confirm that the email was sent. |
| Meeting requested | Sales Engagement portal | A recipient used an availability link and submitted a request to book a meeting. |
| Meeting cancelled | Sales Engagement portal | A previously booked meeting was cancelled. |
| Meeting rescheduled | Sales Engagement portal | A previously booked meeting was moved to a different date or time. |
Column Definitions

| Send on Behalf of | Indicates whether the booking link was used in a delegated or send-on-behalf scenario. |
| Meeting Host | Calendar owner who will host the meeting. |
| Recipient Email | Email address of the recipient associated with the booking request or meeting. |
| Duration | Configured meeting-slot length, in minutes. |
| Time taken to request (mins) | Number of minutes between the recipient opening the link and submitting the meeting request. |
| Private Note | Indicates whether the recipient included a private note with the meeting request. |
| Type of link | Indicates whether the link was single-use or reusable. |
| Tags | Tags applied to the availability link. |
Email Burst Report
The Email Burst report (Detailed usage metrics/burst.csv) records activity performed in the Outlook add-in.
Event Type Definitions

| Burst page opened | The user opened the Email Burst section in the add-in. |
| Burst created | The user completed and submitted a new email burst. |
| Burst analytics viewed | The user opened the analytics or management view for an existing email burst. |
| Scheduled Burst updated | The user edited a burst that was scheduled for future delivery. |

| Merge fields | Indicates whether the email body included personalization merge fields. |
| Has booking link | Indicates whether the email included an availability or booking link. |
| Delegated | Indicates whether the burst was sent on behalf of another user. |
| Used email template | Indicates whether the email body was based on a saved template. |
| Scheduled | Indicates whether the burst was scheduled for future delivery instead of sent immediately. |
| Salesforce Sync enabled | Indicates whether Salesforce activity sync was enabled for the burst. |
Cadence Report
The Cadence report (Detailed usage metrics/cadence.csv) records cadence activity from both the Sales Engagement portal and the Outlook add-in.
Event Type Definitions

| Bounced emails removed | Indicates whether recipients with bounced email addresses were automatically removed. |
| Replied emails removed | Indicates whether recipients who replied were automatically removed from the cadence. |
| Merge fields | Indicates whether cadence emails included personalization merge fields. |
| Follow-ups | Number of follow-up steps configured in the cadence. |
| Salesforce Sync enabled | Indicates whether Salesforce activity sync was enabled for the cadence. |
| Step 1–4 | Type of action configured for each cadence step, such as an email or Salesforce task. |
Email Templates Report
The Email Templates report (Detailed usage metrics/template.csv) records template activity performed in the Outlook add-in.
Event Type Definitions

| Email template inserted | The user selected a template and inserted it into an email compose window. This does not confirm that the email was sent. |
| Email template copied | The user copied an existing template to use as the basis for a new template. |

Template Power Users Summary
The Template Power Users summary (Summary/templates_power_users.csv) is based on Email template inserted activity from the Outlook add-in. Each row summarizes one user's use of one template during the selected reporting period.
