Background:
- It is possible to configure Riva to create an account in the CRM when an email domain name does not match any account in the CRM.
- By default, the domain name is used as is to create the CRM account name, including the domain suffix (.com) or country code (for example, .co.uk).
It is possible to configure Riva 2.4.45 or higher to exclude the domain suffix or country code from the created CRM account name.
Example:
The domain name xyz123.com, when unmatched in the CRM, can be used to create the account name "xyz123" (without the quotation marks).
To omit the domain name or country code when the sync creates an account name in the CRM:
- Configure the following advanced option for the sync policy:
Sync.Crm.AutoGeneratedAccountName.DropDomainSuffix = True. (Default: False.)
