Use Exchange Categories to Sync Items to CRM as Private

In Riva 2.4.35 or higher, it is possible to flag contacts and appointments as private for the Riva sync.

This is done by defining Exchange / Outlook categories as private and using those categories in the users' Master Category List.

To privatize contacts:

• Apply the following advanced options to the sync policy:

  Sync.Ex.PrivateCategories.Enabled.Contact = true

  Sync.Ex.PrivateCategoriesList.Contact = [List of category names separated by commas or semi-colons.]

To privatize appointments:

• Apply the following advanced options to the sync policy:

  Sync.Ex.PrivateCategories.Enabled.Appointment = true

  Sync.Ex.PrivateCategoriesList.Appointment = [List of category names separated by commas or semi-colons.]

After the options are applied, the category names in the Sync.Ex.PrivateCategoriesList are added to the users' Master Category List.
