By adding a custom option key to a sync policy, you make Riva Cloud or Riva On-Premise sync the Contact Link value of an Outlook appointment with the Regarding value of an Oracle On Demand appointment.

In Outlook: Enable the Outlook Contact Link Feature
The Contact Link feature is not enabled by default in Outlook.
To enable the feature in Outlook:
- For Outlook 2013, follow the instructions from Microsoft at http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/office/forum/office_2013_release-outlook/outlook-2013-show-contacts-below-the-notes-field/43f973a7-157c-4fd1-a405-d10c218d9e7e.
- In Outlook 2010, select File > Options > Contacts, and check the Show contacts linked to the current item check box.
- In Outlook 2007, select Tools > Options > Contact Options, and check the Show contact linking on all forms check box.
- In Outlook 2003, the feature is unavailable.

To enable Riva to sync to the Outlook Contact Link field:

Recommended: Upgrade Riva On-Premise to the latest public release.
At a minimum, ensure that Riva 2.4.35 is installed. (To know which Riva On-Premise version is installed.)

Apply the following advanced custom option to the sync policy:
OracleOnDemand.SetContactAttendeesToContactLinks = true
The change applies to new appointments synced after the sync policy has been saved.
