To install the Riva Insight Windows Add-in:

Ensure that you meet the requirements.

NOTE: The Windows Add-in is installed per-machine, not per user. Installing the Windows Add-in in a user folder is NOT supported.

Contact your IT team:

Inform them that to install the Riva Insight Windows Add-in on your computer, administrator access to your local computer is required.

Ask whether you must install the Riva Insight Windows Add-in in a specific location on your computer.

Determine which version is Riva Insight Server you are on.

Download Riva Insight for Outlook, using the same client version as the server version you are on.
For example, if your server version starts with 2022.1, then you will install the RivaInsight-OutlookDesktop.2022.1.exe version of the Windows Add-in.

In Windows Explorer, navigate to your default download location.

Right-click the downloaded .exe file, RivaInsight-OutlookDesktop.{version}.exe, and select Properties. Near the bottom right corner, select Unblock.

IMPORTANT: Close your Outlook email client to prevent issues that may otherwise occur during the next step.

Double-click the installer file to run it.

On the Setup Wizard Welcome page, select Next.

Select the installation folder as per your IT team's instructions, and select Next.

Select Next to confirm the installation.

Select Close to exit.

Start your email client. On the right side of the window, look for Riva Insight.

Expand Riva Insight, and log in.
