What is Riva Insight?
It is an addition for Riva Cloud or Riva On-Premise.
Data display components:
- The Insight panel displays context-aware data from the CRM and social information providers when selecting a contact, an appointment, an email, or a task.
- Track in CRM associates a selected email or calendar item with an unrelated CRM contact, account, or opportunity.
- The Riva Insight basic mode tracks an email to CRM.

Data Delivery Engines:
Riva Insight itself does not sync information. It communicates with Riva Cloud or Riva On-Premise, which then
- retrieves the data from the CRM and passes it to the Insight panel for display and
- syncs the data to the CRM as specified in Track in CRM or basic mode.
Riva Insight communicates as follows:
- With Riva Cloud: Via the Host Riva Insight Service, a free engine.
- With Riva On-Premise: Via the Riva Insight server, which is installed on-premises. Requirements.
