Cause
This behavior can be caused by the Outlook setting “Turn on shared calendar improvements” being enabled for the affected user.
Resolution
Disable the Shared Calendar Improvements setting in Outlook for the affected user.
Steps
- Open Outlook
- Go to File > Account Settings > Account Settings
- Select the Microsoft Exchange account
- Click Change...
- Click More Settings
- Open the Advanced tab
- Ensure “Turn on shared calendar improvements” is unchecked
- Restart Outlook
- Open the shared calendar event again and verify that the Riva Insight side panel loads correctly
