Overview
The error “Riva Subscription Does Not Include Riva Insight” means that Riva Insight is not currently enabled or licensed for the affected Riva account or policy.
This can occur when Riva Insight has not been activated, when a trial has expired, or when the current subscription does not include Riva Insight.
Common Causes
This error is commonly caused by one of the following:
- Riva Insight has not been activated on the account or policy.
- The Riva Insight trial has expired.
- Riva Insight is not included in the current subscription level.
- A temporary trial license was used in a UAT, SIT, or testing environment and has since lapsed.
Resolution
1. Contact the Riva Support Team
The most reliable resolution is to contact the Riva Support Team.
When contacting the Riva Support Team, provide the following information:
- Riva account username
- Policy name or policy details
- Environment type, such as Production, UAT, or SIT
- Screenshot or exact wording of the error message
- Whether Riva Insight was previously working
2. Start an Insight Trial from Riva Cloud
If you are a Riva administrator, you may be able to start a Riva Insight trial directly from the Riva Cloud dashboard.
If the trial activation fails or the error continues after starting the trial, please contact the Riva Support Team for assistance.
3. Request a Permanent License for Non-Production Environments
If the error occurs repeatedly in UAT, SIT, or other testing environments because the trial keeps expiring, request that Riva apply a permanent NFR (Not For Resale) Riva Insight license instead of relying on a temporary trial.
This helps prevent repeated trial expirations in long-running testing environments.
