Automatically Sync All Sent Items and/or All Inbox Emails

Warning: The automatic syncing of Inbox messages or Sent Items to a CRM may greatly increase storage space requirements and reduce the performance of the CRM system over time.

If you are looking at using archiving to your CRM as an email compliance option, be aware that various professional archiving solutions perform this task much more efficiently and are certified as email archive solutions that meet regulatory requirements.

Configuring Riva to auto-sync all Inbox messages for all target users may result in
  • multiple copies of the same email in the CRM (one copy for each user who archives the same email item),
  • single copies of each instance of a threaded discussion email, and
  • one or more copies of non-CRM related contacts (if the automated archiving is not configured to only archive emails to existing contacts).

Auto-sync All Inbox Messages and/or Sent Items

The Riva sync policy includes two modules, Inbox, and Sent Items, that you can configure to auto-sync respectively all Inbox email and Sent Items.

The Inbox module is available in Riva On-Premise 2.4.33 or higher. Determine which Riva On-Premise version is installed. If it is not at least 2.4.33, we recommend upgrading Riva On-Premise to the latest public release.
