Signing In

Riva Insight now offers multiple sign-in options:

  • Microsoft Account: You can now use your existing Microsoft account credentials to log in to Riva Insight. This eliminates the need to manage separate login credentials and simplifies the access process.
    • Note: Only available for Insight Cloud and is only supported for Microsoft 365. This option must be enabled in Riva Cloud on the Microsoft 365/ Exchange Connection.
  • Salesforce Integration: If you're already connected to Salesforce, Riva Insight will automatically recognize your account and grant you access. This streamlines the login process and reduces the need for multiple logins across different platforms.

Improved User Interface

Riva Insight's user interface has been redesigned to be cleaner, more intuitive, and easier to navigate. Here's a summary of the key enhancements:

  • Connect to Salesforce: A new 'Connect to Salesforce' button is available when a users logs in for the first time. This allows Riva Insight to surface CRM contextual in Outlook. This option can also be accessed from Settings.
    • Note: This option only appears when using "Sign in with Microsoft"

  • Tab View: You will notice a new Tab view that lets you manage your activities without losing your place.
    • Related Tab: Is same as before and shows you contextual information for the mailbox item.
    • Track Tab: The Track Button, now is a Track Tab and allows you to monitor your activities and keep track of your progress without losing your place.
    • Action Tab: We have a new Action Tab for Sales Engagement features.
      • Note: Actions Tab will only be available to users with "Sales Engagement" module

  • Track Tags: The track tags stating track status are now moved to the bottom of the event detail card.

  • Enhanced Search Functionality: The search function in Riva Insight has been moved in the top blue bar and has improved to provide more accurate and relevant results. You can easily find the information using keywords or filters.

  • Riva Copilot: Riva Copilot is a new feature that provides recommendation to discover and update contacts and at the top of Insight Panel. It also assist with tasks like email drafting when using Email Templates.
    • Note: Only available with Insight Cloud, available on US and Canada shared tenants, and needs to be enabled in the Admin UI.

  • Leads Management: Riva Insight now offers improved functionalities for managing leads along with contacts.

Sales Engagement Features

Riva Sales Engagement features have been enhanced to help you close more deals efficiently. This features need to be purchased with the Sales Engagement Package.

  • Email Burst: Enables you to send personalized mass emails to your targeted audience and provides you with detailed analytics to see which recipients opened your emails, clicked on links, and more.
  • Open & Clicks: You can now track the open rates and click-through rates of your emails to gain insights into their effectiveness.
  • Riva Bookings: Insert booking links directly into your emails to allow recipients to schedule appointments with you easily. This eliminates the need for back-and-forth communication and simplifies the scheduling process.
  • Email Templates: Leverage pre-designed email templates to save time and ensure consistency in your communication. Riva CoPilot can assist with email drafting.
  • Cadences: This feature allows advisors to manage and automate multi-channel client engagements at scale, ensuring a personalized touch

FAQs

Login Process

  • We are currently using Login with Salesforce. What impact does login with Microsoft have on the workflow?
    • If a user logs in using Office 365, Insight will authenticate the user with the Office 365 credentials.  User will then be prompted to 'Connect to Salesforce' to view contextual data from CRM. Customers currently using Login with Salesforce can continue to do so with no impact.

New Tabs

  • What has changed?
    • The current functionality of Riva Insight remains as is. Contextual data is surfaced when an email or event is opened in the Related Tab as well as Track functionality remains the same. If there were any customization or custom layouts applied to Track view, it will be preserved and will have no impact.
    • Our user testing showed and proved that moving the Track button to a tab reduced clicks and helped to navigate easily across workflows in a seamless manner
    • Quick Track and Track - These are configurable options.
    • If you don't have 'Sales Engagement' enabled, the 'Action Tab' will not appear on your Insight view.
    • If your organization has Leads enabled, Riva Insight will be able to surface and manage it.
    • Track tags are the same but in different location.

Riva Copilot

Riva Copilot is an AI powered tool that lives in Riva Insight. Available for customers using US-East and CAN as their data residency location. This is available with 2024.1 release and is not turned on by default. It does respect Salesforce sharing and visibility. You can turn it on anytime to take advantage of it.
