Riva CRM Sync Policy
- Remove Closed CRM Calendar Items from Exchange - The advanced custom options can now be set in the sync policy or CRM connection.
- Advanced option to rename user in policy - added hidden option to rename a target user in a policy.
CRM Specific Enhancements / Fixes
- GoldMine: Fixed bug for appointments converted to phone calls - Fixed issue when appointment is converted to a call is not resynced to Outlook.
- GoldMine: Added option to disable syncing primary contacts as attendees - Advanced option for GoldMine connection or sync policy.
- NetSuite: Riva syncs Employee Center users - confirmed that Riva supports syncing to users belonging only to Employee Center.
- NetSuite: Added option to disable individual customer syncing - Advanced option on Netsuite connection to disable SmartConvert matching or creating personal email domains to NetSuite as individual customers.
- NetSuite: Option to only create personal accounts for "personal" emails - Advanced option to only allow SmartConvert to create Netsuite individual customers from defined personal email domains.
- NetSuite: Add connection options to enable/disable Partner and Vendor Sync - added checkboxes to enable or disable sync as contacts for individual customers, company customers, vendors, and partners.
- NetSuite: Added options to enable/disable contact sync - Advanced options for NetSuite connection to enable/disable sync as Netsuite contacts and define default search order.
- NetSuite: On impersonate match users by email OR username instead of just email - now the default for NetSuite impersonation.
- Oracle On Demand: Connection option to enable stateless sync - added checkbox option under "Options" for Oracle On Demand connection objects. See Working with Web Service Allotments Limits for Oracle CRM On-Demand for additional details.
- Oracle On Demand: Stateless setting not used if performing a connection test - connection tests performed in the CRM connection only use stateful session.
- Salesforce: Implemented "Standard" Impersonation as the default - implemented a second type of impersonation that does not require the Salesforce SSO feature to be enabled. "Standard" impersonation is now the default for all new Salesforce connections. See Riva Impersonation Models for an explanation of types of impersonation.
- Salesforce: Added impersonation options to connection - added radio button option to select the type of impersonation, "Standard" or "Enterprise" for Salesforce SSO connection.
- Salesforce: Implemented Contact Link feature - advanced option (or app.setting) to map the contact link for an Outlook task or appointment to the corresponding Salesforce item's primary contact.
- Salesforce: Added option to set custom audit fields - when Standard Impersonation is selected, this provides means to enable detailed audit logs to identify the correct target user for synced items.
- Salesforce: Sandbox connections to use test.salesforce.com - Connection automatically sets the login page to test.salesforce.com if the sandbox suffix is specified.
- SalesLogix: Skip deletion of historical appointments owned by other users - Adv option for connection or sync policy to prevent unwanted deletion of Riva synced appointments from Outlook calendars.
- Sugar: The project module should exclude templates - Riva will not sync email drop folders for Sugar Pro and Sugar Enterprise projects marked as templates.
Exchange/Outlook Specific Enhancements / Fixes
- Rework Re-Initialize UI Settings - changed the Type to use a drop-down list. Added Exchange Repoll and None options.
- EWS Connection Changes - provided a drop-down list of common Exchange service providers for the EWS URL. Can also specify non-standard ports in the URL path.
- Set Advanced Options for Individual Users - Added ability to open an advanced options window for individual options.
- Added "Append contact details" option to sync policy "Calendar" page - when checked Riva will append contacts (attendees) details to the calendar body. Applies to appointments and calls.
- Advanced option to disable the setting of the private flag on contacts - Added option to disable the setting of the private flag on contacts marked private by private company name override.
- Advanced option to set sync start time on a per-module basis - Added option to allow for overriding of sync start time on a per-module basis, e.g. set initial sync of appointments starting today and contacts starting 6 months in the past.
- Sync Policy: "Execution Threads" UI changes - Modified "Connection Options" page in sync policy to add help link to "Execution Threads" article.
- Sync Policy: "Advanced Scheduling" UI changes - Converted minutes to human minutes + added links to advanced scheduling article.
- Sync Policy: "Execution Threads" UI changes - Increased the limit to 100 threads and added a warning label starting at 11 threads.
- Sync Policy: Added link to "Outlook rule for Inbound Email" - added link to KB article that discusses Outlook rule to auto-archive all inbound email.
GroupWise Specific Enhancements / Fixes
- Added uni-directional sync CRM > GroupWise - added filter option for Address Book, Calendar, and Tasks to sync read-only from CRM to GroupWise.
Noticeable Fixes or Sync Workflow Changes
- Resolved a query issue that pegged the CPU
- Improved query operations to take less time
- Fixed CrmAgent: NRE while stopping service - Fixed a bug that caused an NRE (non-recoverable error) while the CRM Agent service was stopping. This should reduce instances of the CRM Agent service getting stuck in the "Stopping ..." state.

Special options that can be enabled by Omni Professional Services
- NetSuite: Added support for custom filters - custom filters can be employed to control item sync between NetSuite and Exchange. Contact the Omni Developer Team for more information.
- Salesforce: Allow specifying of "StripSandboxUsernameSuffix" in query parameters - This will allow a single SSO instance to be tested in production and sandbox without having to reconfigure it. Contact the Omni Developer Team for more information
Recommended Update Procedures: Customers can upgrade their Riva CRM Integration Server server using the "Check for Updates" feature which can be configured to support proxy authentication environments.
